The little-known profession of mediamatician

It's now been a year since my media design apprentice started her career with me, and it's the perfect opportunity to shine the spotlight on a profession that's still little-known in French-speaking Switzerland, but of crucial importance to companies of all sizes!

What is a mediamatician?

At the crossroads of the various multimedia fields, mediamaticians acquire a wide range of skills during their training. Their curriculum covers several key areas that, I believe, are essential in today's professional world:

• IT

• Graphic design

• Social networks and marketing

• Photos and videos

• Administration and project management

What are their tasks?

At my company, the mediamatician takes care of all kinds of tasks: helping to manage social networks, creating posters and content for social networks, creating videos/photos... A real Swiss army knife! ????????

I'm excited to see this exciting profession continue to grow and gain recognition in French-speaking Switzerland. Mediamaticians are invaluable assets to any organization, and their versatility opens the door to many possibilities. ????
